The rand rallied to a 3 1/2-month high against the dollar.
South Africa’s currency appreciated as much as 0.8 percent to 7.2834 per dollar, the strongest level since April 14. The rand traded 0.7 percent up at 7.2859 as of 10:29 a.m. in Johannesburg, from a close of 7.3381 yesterday. Source -- Bloomberg
